GerberColor foils are developed to withstand harsh exterior and industrial environments, delivering consistency from one color to another and more vibrancy than other printing methods. Spot colors provide solid color printing instead of dot patterns — giving you cleaner, brighter results and unlimited color possibilities.
What does "calibrated to materials" mean? Gerber has tested and programmed the optimum print settings for each foil and material combination into the Gerber OMEGA 8.0 software as profiles. The software automatically selects the correct heat, speed, and pressure settings for the material you're printing on. Media that is calibrated carries the "Edge Ready" designation. Correct heat, pressure, and speed matter because the color pigment is fused into the material and becomes part of it — in most cases you will rip the material before you can scratch the color off.
How Foil Printing Works
