  • ✔ California Proposition 65 Compliant.

Pitbull™ is a printable, permanent adhesive vinyl made for surfaces where standard sign vinyl won’t stick. Its extra-thick acrylic adhesive flows into rough and textured surfaces and grips LSE (low surface energy) plastics like polyethylene and polypropylene, forming a bond that stays put. That makes it a go-to media for MX bike graphics, military equipment markings, coolers, kayaks, and other rugged plastic products. Pitbull prints on thermal transfer, HP Latex, UV, and eco/solvent printers, and comes in roll widths from 15" to 60".

Why Standard Vinyl Fails on Plastic

Many plastics, including TPO, polyethylene, and polypropylene, are low-surface-energy (LSE) materials. Their surfaces naturally repel adhesives, the same way water beads up on a waxed car instead of spreading out. Most adhesives can’t wet out and grip these surfaces. Even when a decal, label, or sticker looks fine on day one, the bond is weak from the start.

Texture makes it worse. Many rugged plastic products have a molded, grained, or textured finish. The thin adhesive on standard decal vinyl only touches the high points of that texture and leaves gaps underneath. With so little contact, heat, cold, flexing, and moisture slowly work the edges loose, and the result is lifting corners, bubbling, and peeling labels and stickers.

Pitbull is built to solve both problems. Its 2 mil acrylic adhesive layer is about twice as thick as typical vinyl adhesives. It flows down into the texture, fills the low spots, and gets full contact with the surface. It’s also formulated to bond to LSE plastics that other adhesives can’t grip. The result is a permanent bond for decals, labels, and stickers on the surfaces that give ordinary decal vinyl the most trouble.

Built For

    • - Commercial & site equipment: Portable restrooms, barriers, bins, and other rugged plastic surfaces on job sites and at events. Branding, rental info, and safety or instruction decals have to survive weather, cleaning, and transport. Pitbull’s aggressive adhesive keeps them attached so equipment stays identifiable and professional-looking.
    • - Outdoor & Recreation: Coolers, hard cases, kayaks, paddleboards, and other watercraft. These products are often made from textured, LSE plastics that standard vinyl can’t grip. Pitbull flows into the texture and bonds to the plastic, so branding, logos, and custom graphics stay on through sun, water, and rough handling.
    • - Military & Tactical: Asset tags, ID labels, and equipment markings where label failure isn’t an option. Rugged cases, containers, and molded plastic gear are hard for most adhesives to bond to. Pitbull’s permanent bond keeps critical markings attached and readable in the field.
    • -MX & Motorsport: Bike graphics that hold tight on plastic fenders, shrouds, and number plates. Off-road plastics are usually polyethylene or polypropylene, LSE surfaces where standard vinyl lifts at the edges. Pitbull’s extra-thick adhesive grabs those surfaces and keeps graphics in place through mud, pressure washing, and constant vibration.
When the environment is hostile and the label has to stay put, Pitbull is the spec.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can Pitbull vinyl be removed?

No. Pitbull is a permanent vinyl and isn’t designed for removal. If you need a graphic that can be repositioned or removed cleanly, try CONVEX® GearWrap.

  • Will Pitbull stick to textured plastic?

Yes. Its 2 mil adhesive layer fills in molded and textured surfaces for full contact, where standard vinyl only touches the high points.

  • Does Pitbull stick to TPO and polyethylene?

Pitbull is rated for 2 years of outdoor life. Adding a UV laminate like Tuff Cover UV helps protect the printed graphic..

  • How long does Pitbull last outdoors?
