On all LexEdge products, the sub-surface is smooth for printing. This material has a protective mask on both sides to protect it from scratching during transport, storage and handling. The mask on the printing surface must be removed before printing.LexEdge Outdoor is a 10 mil, rigid, clear polycarbonate with an embossed velvet textured surface and a smooth sub-surface for printing. Intended for printing control panels and signs when there may be 3 to 5 years of UV exposure. Outdoor durable, this matte Lexan has a custom-formulated print surface specifically designed to resist tearing, abrasion and yellowing effects of UV exposure. Formulated for use with Gerber EDGE Series for printing directly onto the final substrate in second surface applications. Ideally suited for the production of ATM/bank signs, equipment labels, gas station graphics, menu boards and other outdoor graphic displays.
