TreadMark™ Media and Laminate

Help businesses reopen soon by providing them with floor graphic products.

TreadMark™ is our GMS floor graphic media that consists of permanent and removable printable films for floors combined with smooth or textured grip laminates. For specialized floor graphics like glow-in-the-dark way-finding strips, or graphics that need to stick to boat carpeting, those applications require different combinations than what is offered on this page. Please consult with one of our specialists if you feel your application requires a more unique solution.

For graphics produced via ink jet, use the TMR (Cleanly Removable) or TMP (Permanent) base media - in White.

For the Gerber Edge use TreadMark TMR or TMP Clear media, and print Arctic White as a base color if needed.

For laminate, use the TMP clear laminate or Stubbl. TreadMark base media and laminate are approximately 4 mils each. Stubbl laminate is 18 mil.

TreadMark laminate is smooth gloss, and just like the floor, it can become slippery when wet.

If your customer expects to encounter wet conditions and wants to make sure there is less chance of slipping, we recommend heavily textured Stubbl as the laminate. We recommend Stubbl for hot tubs, windsurf boards, swim platforms, and any other surfaces where you want extra grip.  Stubbl exceeds OSHA and ADA Standards for non-slip protection on hazardous surfaces. Stubbl is certified as “High Traction” by the NFSI.

To apply: TreadMark TMR is designed to be applied and removed from smooth surfaces including waxed and non-waxed commercial PVC flooring/tile, certain ceramic tile, and smooth sealed concrete.

The floor must be cleaned before you apply graphics. Normal floor cleaning methods can be used. Make sure the floor is dry before applying your TreadMark graphics. Minimum surface temperature required is 50°F. If the floor is to be waxed over the graphics, please make sure the wax meets or exceeds ASTM D 2047 for static coefficient of friction of .5 minimum. Floor graphic construction with TreadMark laminate is not recommended to be driven over with fork lifts or other heavy equipment. Stubbl laminate is more robust at 18 mils thick. Please test for your specific environment to be sure.
